Mind Focus Generation FAQ’s

What makes Mind Focus Generation Coaching different than other programs out there?
I created my signature system The Super Empowerment System for Teens and The Super Empowerment System for Young Adults with the particular issues and challenges of this unique age group in mind. Most coaching programs out there are more general in nature or geared toward specific challenges that adults deal with.

Mind Focus Generation Coaching helps your son/daughter to develop an understanding of brain science which links emotions, thoughts and behaviors. Mind Focus Generation Coaching guides your son/daughter to develop new positive associations by creating new neural pathways in the brain. Your son/daughter will enhance their self and environmental awareness through their focus, feelings, and perceptions

Mind Focus Generation Coaching teaches emotional coherence, heart-based learning and mindfulness techniques which cultivates an environment of understanding and respect for oneself and others.

Mind Focus Generation Coaching focuses on strengthening positive feelings and qualities such as kindness, appreciation and empathy, as well as builds on the feelings and qualities that increase self-confidence.

Young people learn to understand the role emotions play in creating each and every one of their experiences, while being provided with the guidance, knowledge and support to create uplifting, rewarding, and nourishing experiences. They actually learn how to create their own reality! It’s so much fun.

Mind Focus Generation Coaching provides young people with a deep understanding of the spiritual principles of the universal laws which are necessary to understand in the creation of success, achievement, abundance and life long happiness.

Even as a teenager, it is never too early to begin to define your dreams, and recognize what is holding you back from taking action toward these dreams. This is done by recognizing patterns, behaviors, beliefs and habits that are not working in their lives to create their desired results, and then adopting new behaviors, beliefs and habits and taking action that is in alignment with those desires.

What is life coaching?

Life Coaching is a professional service that addresses specific personal areas that a client would like to receive guidance and support in so that he/she may take action to move in the direction of whatever it is they are working toward accomplishing in their life.A coach works with the client to bring about an understanding of what is going on right now, discovering what the client’s obstacles or challenges might be, and guiding the client in choosing a course of action to create a life that is aligned with the client’s desires.

A life coach provides guidance, motivation, inspiration, insights and feedback from an outside vantage point. Coaching and is always exciting, positive, and action driven. The purpose is to raise awareness within the client and encourage him/her to take responsibility for his/her life. Life coaching helps clients to move beyond their own particular challenge and go further than they ever thought possible.

How is a life coach different than a therapist?

  • Therapists work with clients that need professional help to work towards healing, recovery, and to resolve deep emotional issues.
  • Coaching provides the opportunity for clients to have a partner that can work with them from a detached point of view to help them grow, develop new skills, create more self-awareness and enhance their own lives.
  • Therapists are experts in medical and behavioral sciences trained to diagnose and treat conditions.
  • Coaches recognize their clients unique gifts, their strengths, and areas in need of improvement and are trained to support the client as they achieve a certain outcome.
  • Therapists are required to keep their personal feelings and thoughts removed from the clients.
  • Coaches use their personal experiences and perspectives as a tool to help their clients move in the direction they desire. “If I can do it, so can you!” is the perspective a coach gives to their client. Coaches guide their clients towards their own solutions and are the ultimate support system for the client.

How do I know if coaching is right for my son/daughter?

Coaching is ideal for your son/daughter if he/she is the typical kid that is struggling over the emotional issues of:

bullying; friendship dramas; low self-esteem; a lack of confidence in his/her abilities;  a disconnection or stress about school;  a lack of focus in his/her work; disorganization with personal belongings and work; lack of time management; confusion, doubt or worry about his/her future; uncertainty of his/her strengths, talents and gifts; having difficulty figuring out what his/her life purpose is; constantly worrying about what other people think; holding back from truly enjoying life and experiencing success

Coaching is also ideal for your son/daughter if he/she is:

  • Needing or desiring to set goals in any area of life

  • Ready to begin taking responsibility for his/her life

What are the benefits of having my child work with a life coach?

Coaching provides your child with an on-going relationship with their coach purpose of enhancing the quality of your son/daughter’s life while holding him/her accountable for what they want to create and achieve. It is this positive, supportive relationship that is developed that allows your teen to feel more confident and empowered about who he/she is and the decisions he/she is making.

Through coaching support, your son/daughter will learn how to easily create feelings of self-confidence, empowerment, self-appreciation, motivation and inspiration which will have a direct impact on the actions he/she takes in every area of life including relationships, school work, career planning, decision making, and more.

Life coaching helps your child to not only set goals but achieve them, whether they are short term day-to-day goals like completing school assignments, improving grades or longer term goals such as college planning, weight loss, sports achievement, financial goals or virtually any other personal goal desired.

A major benefit to having a coach support your child is that it reduces anxiety and stress levels by helping him/her to remain focused, calm, and centered.  As a coach, I train young clients to use meditation and visual imagery to create clarity, ease, focus, and certainty within themselves.

Coaching clients do more than they would on their own because of the direction, accountability and support they receive. Not only do they feel more confident in taking action, they know that they have worked through their challenges and goals with another person that is invested in their achievement.

Through life coaching your son/daughter will become more in touch with their own inner wisdom and power so they can determine what the right steps are, limiting those painful experiences that result from making choices that are not aligned with their own integrity and inner wisdom.

Why can’t I just coach my own child?

While a parent is the most important person for providing support, guidance and encouragement in a child’s life, for the most part, we don’t want to be ‘coached’ by the people closest to us in our lives, and this is especially true for young people. They are at the point in their lives where they are beginning to learn about their independence and discover what it means to make their own decisions and be responsible for their own actions. Many times when a parent is only trying to give their best and most loving advice, teenagers have a need to want to learn it on their own, which of course leads to many growing pains. As a parent it is very difficult to have a different perspective and stay objective of the experiences your son or daughter is going through because you are emotionally involved. Having a coach allows for a detached perspective and at the same time provides your child with the support, knowledge and guidance necessary to navigate through this often difficult learning experience of being young.
